Addys González Sasserath

        Founder and Principal, Marketing-led Innovator

Addys González Sasserath created Market Quest Consulting in 1992 to provide a unique service: brand management consulting coupled with deliberate creativity and problem solving.  No pie in the sky stuff; she delivers creative solutions and big ideas to boost your bottom line. 

Addys received her MBA from the S. C. Johnson Graduate School of Management at Cornell University, and is a certified facilitator of the Osborn-Parnes creative problem solving process. Addys is a native speaker of the Spanish language.  She was born in Cuba and raised in the United States.  Leveraging on that strength, her marketing experience spans both the domestic market as well as overseas work in Latin America.  

Prior to her consulting career, she held in-line brand management and new products marketing positions with Johnson and Johnson Baby Products Co., as well as Schering-Plough prescription and over-the-counter divisions.  She also interned in Latin America for S. C. Johnson & Sons (Johnson Wax). While in the corporate fold, she worked as a brand manager for in-line products with P & L responsibility; and she experienced the excitement and challenges of identifying and seizing new product opportunities while working in new products. 

After a successful career in brand management , Addys founded Market Quest Consulting.  Her clients benefit from her real-world brand management and new products experience, her training in creativity and creative problem solving, and her real-world view of innovation and its role in moving businesses forward.  She has walked a mile in the marketing professional’s shoes.  She understands the need for balance in generating revenue and profits and the need to invest in the future.  She also believes that in order to have a healthy bottom line, companies must have a healthy top line of consistent innovation. 

She has recently developed a problem solving model, AhaQuest! which is based on the respected and thoroughly validated Osborn-Parnes creative problem solving model.

Her marketing clients have included: M&M/MARS, Agouron (Pfizer), Schering-Plough, Eli-Lilly, and smaller entrepreneurial companies.

Arthur VanGundy, Ph.D.

         Alliance Associate, Ideation Pioneer

Arthur VanGundy is an authority on idea generation techniques and has written 11 frequently-cited books on the subject.  He has developed and facilitated brainstorming retreats for over 20 years as an independent creativity and innovation consultant.  Clients include Hershey Foods, Monsanto, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Motorola, and Xerox.

His most recent project is All Star Minds, a global “e-storming” alliance involving a global Internet idea generation network. He has developed two idea generation aids:  the Product Improvement Checklist (PICL), and the Circles of Creativity. He is working on a new book: Arts-Based Exercises and Activities: Creative Approaches to Group Learning, to be released in the Spring of 2003.
